It’s flashback time!
Tuesday of this week marked the one year anniversary of the publication of One Night Stand. Can you believe it? I sure can’t. As an added anniversary present, ONS received the RomCon Reader’s Crown award for Best First Book! I’d be lying if I told you I didn’t do a little “snoopy” dance when I got that message.
It’s been a helluva year.
I’ve had a great time sharing Devlin in Lucky’s Charms and Garrett and Jessa in Spring Training with all of you. (Psst, Monday kicks off a two-week tour for Spring Training with a great prize at the end! Click here for details.) Annnnnd, in a few, short months, you’ll be able to revisit the Martin clan with Caleb Martin’s story, Shadow of Sin. (I swear, Moni, I’m going to finish it and send it to you.)
Hmmm, what else did I do in the last year?
I shared stuff like this with you (remember him? Mmm.) —————>
<——- And I shared the story of my beloved boxer, Titus–better known as Ty, Tybo, or Tybolicious–who still thinks it’s awesome to sleep on top of me, as seen here. All 68 pounds of him. 🙂
I’ve shared my favorite reads…as well as things that excite me. My heroes discussed the art of kissing (loved that one), and I’ve made some amazing friends – nine of them share this blog with me.
But, above all, I’ve had a great time getting to know all of you – the readers. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be able to do what I love. I’m truly grateful.
Now for that flashback I promised. Before Shadow of Sin releases, go back and see how it all started with Amanda and Joe!
Amanda Martin has the worst taste in men. After being cheated on not once, but twice, she’s lost all faith in men…and in herself. Determined to regain her confidence, Amanda decides to have a one-night stand. No relationship, no promises, no threat of being hurt again…just sex. What she doesn’t anticipate is meeting a handsome-as-sin stranger who will give her pleasure unlike any she’s ever known.
Joe Sterling has spent his life avoiding relationships, his former job as a military sniper not allowing for such commitments. Now he’s come home to Texas, to let go of the past and to prove he is more than the killer he’s been trained to be. When Amanda’s life is threatened, Joe’s killer instinct is tested while Amanda struggles to protect her heart. Will they succumb to their overwhelming desire for each other, or lose it all by letting the past dictate their future?
Until next time…
