Hello and goodbye

So, the first thing you probably noticed is we have a sexy new banner at the top.

The second thing you probably noticed is we’re missing a few of our favorite authors.

We are three-plus years into this awesome adventure that is Love, Lust, and Laptops. We have been so very lucky to always have had ups and ups and more ups. We LL&L ladies have formed strong bonds and have a whole lot of love for  each other.

As much fun as we have here, keeping the blog live and active takes a lot of work. It is time consuming, and for an author, time is everything and has to be spent to the best of each author’s ability. Sometimes blogging gets to be too much and it is time to take a step back and evaluate where things are and how to move forward.

In doing so, a few of the gals have decided that it is time for them to step down and focus on other areas of their careers.

We still love them. They still love us. No one has left on bad terms, they were just ready for a break.

Some of us stayed, some of us left, but each decision was made with the best interests of the author, the group, and the blog in mind. I promise you haven’t heard the last of Rosanna, Vanessa, Monette, Parker, or Becca. They will be swinging by to share new release updates or just to say ‘ello, and when they do, we’ll probably get all mushy. You’ll just have to turn away for a moment and let us work that out.

So what does this mean for you, the reader? Actually, not too much. The five remaining LL&L ladies are still here. We’ll still be blogging and we’ll still have guest authors to help fill the void. We’ll still have occasional contests and free reads. We’ll still share news, books, and probably overshare about our personal lives.

KaLyn, Jianne, Lynn, Robin, and I are so looking forward to what is to come. We can’t wait to continue this journey, and while it’s a little sad to see some of our friends go, we know we aren’t really saying goodbye, we’re just saying until we see you again…

  3. Thanks for the lovely send-off. I loved my time with the LL&L ladies and will definitely be cheering and supporting them and their careers — and will be back whenever they’ll let me. As the saying goes: Once an LL&L lady, always an LL&L lady.

And, yes, I made that up — but it is true. Hugs and smooches.
